Oath of the Iron Soul
The high elf watchers have come to the capitals of Azeroth bearing chronicles bound in iron. Their quills know no mercy: they write only of those who have never known defeat — of those whose souls are forged like fine steel. Watcher Morta and Watcher Fero seek those worthy of taking the Oath of the Iron Soul.
How to take the oathThe watchers await you in the capitals of both factions:
The oath is taken only at the very start of the path — by a character of level one to ten who has never known death. The watcher will tell you at once whether the path is open to you, and if they refuse, they will name the reason: you already carry a soul of iron, you have known death, or you have outgrown the proper age. If the path is open, choose "Why would one pursue this path?", then "Yes." and confirm the oath. |
|
Remember, traveler: the oath is irreversible, and death is now final — resurrection will be forever hidden from you, whether at your own body or at the spirit healer. The chronicle counts every fall. The only mark of the chosen is the Soul of Iron itself: it will neither change nor fade. Carry it to level sixty without a single fall — and every onlooker who sees its seal upon you will know that the path was walked to the very end.
